Getting into gear, here in Arizona

Finally things are coming together with school. Living in California and trying to apply for school in another state was harder than I though it would be. When I got here to Arizona, I was told that I didn't finish my registration. I have talked to a wonderful counselor here and she has me going in the right direction of where I want to be. I am taking the Education program to get my AA with Early Childhood and Elementary Education Emphasis. Since I missed the semester that just started, I am going to take several on-line classes till I am able to start my summer classes. I take my Assessment test next week. Next step will be choosing the classes I want to take on-line. So unfortunately I was unable to jump right into school, but it's for the best in the long run because I am searching for a job which is also harder than I would have imagined.

As for finding work, it's been a big disappointment so far. When I first arrived here, I decided to post my resume on-line for jobs that fit my qualifications to make the most I could out here. Since that wasn't going so well, I decide to post my resume for anything close by. The next thing I did was walk into the local Mall and applied at 11 stores, including the Movie Theaters. This weekend I will be going to Laughlin and applying at the Casino hotels for house keeping... yes, "Housekeeping....." I actually would prefer to get a job like that for now since I will be doing my on-line classes. I don't want a job that will be stressful at all so this way I can just do my job and come home and focus on my school work. Wish me luck this weekend for finding a job. I need it.
